  • 16.09Sentencing Bill Debate – intervened to criticise Reform over lack of a realistic plan for addressing prison capacity issues
  • 15.09Employment Rights Bill Debate – intervened to argue in favour of trade union membership (as a form of protection against unfair dismissal) and to highlight the importance of establishing adequate childcare provisions which will allow single parents to enter the workforce
  • 15.09Official Secrets Act Debate – asked the Minister to clarify how we are co-ordinating with our allies to protect democracy from its enemies, and when the government plans to issue MPs guidance on this issue

  • Parliament broke up for Conference Recess on Wednesday, this week. I will be attending the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool, which officially kicks off on Sunday, the 28th.

    as someone who does own an electric vehicle, used as Private Hire car, I’m not happy that I don’t get as much “road access” as a dirty diesel Hackney Cab.
