I have previously shared my concerns about cuts to the Holiday Playscheme used by children with additional support needs attending Braidburn School.

I was very impressed by the parents that spoke today at the Education, Children & Families Committee about the problems with the scheme (video below). It was fantastic to see cross-party support for improving the situation, particularly for the children attending Braidburn School.

The parents must now be fully involved in fixing this problem.
