Kezia is spot on. The Tories completely misjudged the EU referendum. What should have been a bit of drama leading up to a “Remain” result, has turn into a national crisis with lasting consequences.  As strong as the arguments for EU membership are, however, they are not so significant to warrant Scotland leaving the UK.   Independence would see Scotland outside the UK single market and, at least for a few years, outside the EU.
